| Inspired by the pachycephalosaurus - for the head design. Idea was that these types of dinosaurs fight with their heads; using jerking head butting actions - which seemed to suit Tourette's down to a tee. I wanted his design to really stand out, as I felt the dragons where all a bit too similar |

| Liopleurodon design inspired; this dragon is water based, to really throw of the stereotypes of dragons all being fire creatures. I had to use seal reference photos to draw how he would lie and stand out of the water. Also, a fish out of water does jerking, uncoordinated actions, which suit Tourette's too. So I figured in the water, while calm he could be smooth and just shouting words, but out of the water he will be jerky and twitchy like a fish. Also Carly suggested the idea of him being a water creature as It would be a beautiful scene to draw - him coming up out of an underground lake in the cave. |
