Maybe use this texture for Bipolar cave? Purple and pink. Ties in with theme. ENPAGE IDEAS                  really love this one. very endearing little illustration - would love to have the whole book in this style.

Idea just wings with space.
I decided that my favourite style are these ones, and as they look good all together, this is what my book will look like if it were all coloured. My theme will be this as it light, abstract, the colours are gentle and not too in your face, and its just generally interesting and different. I edited the silhouette one so it was less photo and more illustration, so it didn't stand out so much and look odd.
Use this one but the paler version
